About The College


G.D. College of Education is one of the leading Colleges in Haryana. It is approved by NCTE & Afflicted to Choudhary Devi Lal University. It is situated on Fatehabad Road, Bhuna (Fatehabad) Haryana. It was established in May, 2005. The G.D. College of Education is run by Lala Kundhan Lal Memorial Educational Society, which is well known for excellence in education field. The Educational Society was established as per society registration act 1957 on 1994. The society has a land measuring 20760 sq. mt. at its disposal. Besides excellence in academic results, the institute is committed to ensure all round development of the students in every sphere of life.

G.D. College of Educationís were established according to the provisions of NCTE to provide academic and resource support at the grass-roots level for the success of the various strategies and programmes being undertaken in the areas of elementary and educations. G.D. College of Educations are a part of a larger strategy to achieve national goals in the areas of elementary and education and function according to the needs of individual states and districts.

Pace-Setting Role
Pursuit of excellence would have to inform all activities of the G.D. College of Educations, in which context it will have two inter-related aspects :

Excellence in the Institute own work, and
Helping the elementary and educations systems in the district, in achieving excellence.

In this context, G.D. College of Educations will have a very important pace-setting role to play. They will be expected to become models for other educational institutions in the district in terms of meticulous, efficient and effective planning and execution of functions, harmonious and creative organizational climate, maintenance of a clean and attractive campus etc.

Transactional Philosophy
G.D. College of Education will have three main functions, viz.

Training (both Pre-service and in-service)
Resource support (extension/guidance, development of materials, aids, evaluations tools etc.)
Action research
